About AgriFruit
General Introduction
AgriFruit Project began with a simple belief: sometimes, the best way to tell the story of a place is through what grows from its soil.
In the Mekong Delta, fertile land and abundant waterways have created a region where agriculture is deeply woven into everyday life. From orchards stretching along the rivers to farmers patiently caring for each harvest, the Delta has become home to a remarkable variety of tropical fruits – each with its own flavor, character, and story.
Mangoes, guavas, durians, and many other fruits are not simply agricultural products. They represent the richness of the land, the knowledge passed down through generations, and the dedication of the farmers who bring each harvest to life.
Yet, many of these fruits are enjoyed only within their short harvest seasons. Their value can also be affected by changing market demand, making it difficult for the stories behind them to reach people beyond the orchards.
AgriFruit Project was created to change that,
By transforming familiar Mekong Delta fruits into carefully crafted dried products, AgriFruit hopes to preserve their value and bring the flavors of Southern Vietnam to more people, in a form that can be enjoyed beyond the harvest season.
Our product journey begins with some of the region’s most beloved fruits. From the sweetness of mangoes and the distinctive flavor of guavas to the richness of durian – famously known as the “King of Fruits” – each product represents a different part of the Mekong Delta’s agricultural identity.
For us, AgriFruit is more than a fruit product. It is a way to celebrate the abundance of the Mekong Delta, share the stories of its farmers, and introduce the diversity of Vietnamese agriculture through something as simple and familiar as a bite of fruit.
Future direction
Vision
I hope AgriFruit Project can grow into a youth-led brand that proudly represents Vietnamese agriculture through products that people genuinely enjoy and trust. My vision goes beyond selling dried fruits. I want more people, especially young people, to learn about where our food comes from, understand the value of local agriculture, and feel proud of the products grown in Vietnam.
In the future, I hope to work with farmers, schools, and local organizations to create educational activities, farm visits, and community projects that help connect people with Vietnamese agriculture. I believe that even a small student initiative can encourage others to look at local products in a new way and recognize the potential of Vietnam’s agricultural sector.
The beginning
Brand Story
Every meaningful journey begins with an appreciation for where we come from.
Growing up in Vietnam, I have always been surrounded by an incredible variety of tropical fruits. Every harvest season, I saw mangoes, guavas, durians, and many other local fruits filling orchards across the country, especially in the Mekong Delta. Behind every harvest were farmers who spent months caring for their crops, preserving knowledge passed down through generations. Yet, many of these fruits still faced challenges such as short harvest seasons, changing market demand, and unstable prices.
Seeing this made me wonder:
How can we help Vietnamese fruits create value beyond the harvest season?
That question became the starting point of the AgriFruit Project.
I wanted to create something that could preserve the natural character of Vietnamese fruits while introducing them in a form that fits modern lifestyles. After exploring different ideas, I decided to begin with premium dried fruits – not simply as a snack, but as a way to celebrate the quality, diversity, and richness of Vietnamese agriculture.
Our journey begins with the fruits of the Mekong Delta. From the familiar sweetness of mangoes and the refreshing character of guavas to durian, each fruit carries a different taste and story from the land where it grows.
To me, AgriFruit is more than a brand, it is a way to share the stories behind our fruits, recognize the dedication of local farmers, and introduce the richness of Vietnam’s agricultural heritage to more people. Every package represents a small part of a much larger story – one about fertile land, hardworking people, and the abundance of Vietnamese produce.
From that, I hope it can encourage more people to discover the value of our local produce and inspire other young people to create ideas that preserve, celebrate, and bring the best of their communities to the world.
